Dr Jeff Messman grew up in Chelsea, MI.  He received his DVM from Michigan State University in 1992.  He came to work at The Veterinary Standard after graduation.  His hobbies include water skiing and antique tractor pulling.  Dr. Messman and his wife Rita live in Manchester with their two children Stephanie and Jake.
